QUT encourages diversity amongst its students by providing entry programs to assist people from all walks of life to enter the university course of their choice. Students who do not meet standard enrolment criteria to enter may be eligible under alternative entry programs.
The university also endeavours to provide full and equal access to learning and research, and a range of support services are available for students with particular needs such as indigenous students, low-income background students, non-English speaking background students, or students with disabilities.
