Welfare and income support

Students can find information about welfare issues from the QUT Student Welfare Services. Advice is available from the Guild on AUSTUDY or other income support eligibility, appeals, tax, the Higher Education Loan Programme (HELP) and loans.

QUT has a strong commitment to supporting students from low socio-economic backgrounds by providing targeted financial support measures. This includes:
