QUT is committed to transferring the benefits of our scholarship and research out to the wider community. As part of its commitment to contributing to the leadership and well-being of Australia and other nations, staff at the University are involved in developing a range of joint projects with organisations and companies. Staff are encouraged to be involved in consulting and community service, and staff and student exchanges are fostered.

The University's research resources and capabilities are available for consultation; to develop an idea, test a product, or undertake a training project. With experience in managing both small and large-scale projects, QUT has a record of achieving innovative outcomes which deliver social and economic benefits to the community.
