QUT Health Law Moot

In 2025, the Queensland University of Technology will host the inaugural QUT Health Law Moot. The competition will run over the course of one week and will be open to all Australian universities who wish to register a team.

This competition is specifically aimed at students in the latter years of their law degree who have an interest in the area of health law.  Each year, the competition problem will focus on a different and contested area of health law.

The law school, in conjunction with the Australian Centre for Health Law Research, will facilitate a mooting experience that connects law students with current health law practitioners, internationally recognised experts in health law and most importantly, fellow Australian students who have an interest in health law.
