Hands-on design workshops for high school students.
We are offering design workshops in the following areas:
- Design Skills
- Ergonomics
- Human-centred design
- Design drawing
- Sustainable design
If you are coming to campus to engage in these workshops*, they can be accompanied by a university tour, including a tour of our design studios. Alternatively, some of these workshops can be delivered at your school or online. To book a design workshop, please email Keith Alexander, Student Engagement Coordinator at keith.alexander@qut.edu.au with the following information:
- Number of students
- Year level(s)
- Design topics
- Potential Dates (Provide at least 2)
- Arrival and departure time
Please book at least 3 weeks in advance.
* By attending one of our design-related workshops and keeping these workshops free for all schools, your school may be asked to participate in research that looks at design thinking as an approach to student achievement.
