From the very first day of Welcome Week to the moment I crossed the stage at graduation, every experience at QUT has contributed to my growth and completely transformed my outlook.
The thrill of my first cybersecurity semester
The second semester of my first year was a pivotal time for me, as it marked the beginning of my major in cybersecurity and networks. All the intriguing subjects and electives I had chosen were taught by the best of the best academic tutors. The excitement stemmed from the opportunity to learn and try things that were beneficial for my career. It was an exhilarating part of my academic journey.
Balancing academia with leadership and community
In my final semester, I had the opportunity to work during QUT Open Day and served as the Secretary of Hindu Students Australia, where I support the well-being of Hindu students. This final role stands out as my greatest accomplishment.
Ready for the next chapter
I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nostalgia as I bring this beautiful journey at QUT to a close as a postgraduate student. I know I'll definitely miss the cozy Kelvin Grove campus, where I spent countless nights studying. However, just like a butterfly must break free from its cocoon to spread its wings, it's time for me to take flight into the real world, armed with all the amazing experiences and knowledge I've gained here.
