We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion and helping underrepresented individuals in science, mathematics, and IT to achieve their full potential.

If you're completing Year 12 (or a gap year) in 2024, starting university for the first time in 2025, and identifying as female, non-binary, or Indigenous Australian, we have two new exciting Faculty of Science scholarships for you to explore.

Indigenous Australian Scholarship

This scholarship is not just about financial support, but also about opening doors to a world of opportunities. It aims to foster further opportunities by supporting and engaging students in other structured program opportunities, like the Indigenous Australian Research Training Scheme (IARTS).

Scholarship for Women and Non-Binary People

This scholarship aims to support high-achieving female and non-binary students who are starting their first year of an undergraduate degree in science, mathematics, or IT. It also aims to foster leadership and networking by encouraging recipients to contribute to and participate in the diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives of the Faculty of Science and student clubs.
