When you study information technology or games at QUT, you are guaranteed to work on real industry projects, which means you will graduate with valuable experience on your CV.

Every year, our final-year students present their year-long industry project at the Capstone Showcase. This event provides an opportunity to celebrate the students' achievements and network with industry guests.

In 2024, 217 students collaborated with 48 industry partners on 56 team projects.

We spoke with a group of students to learn about their experiences and insights gained during the capstone project. Here's what we discovered:
