The School of Mathematical Sciences is a leading provider of applied mathematics and statistics higher education and excels in research in applied and computational mathematics, statistics, and operations research.
The school is closely associated with the QUT Centre for Data Science and is Queensland's only node of an Australian Centre of Excellence in Mathematics (Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems).
