Biography
Dr Dominique A. Greer (nee Keeffe) is a Professor in Marketing at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Business School. Her research focuses on how co-creation in professional services is disrupted by deviant consumer behaviour. She has expertise in experimental design, survey research, scale development, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Dominique's research has been highly commended at international conferences and she has collaborated and published with the foremost experts in her field. Dominique received an Australian Awards for University Teaching 2015 Award for Programs that Enhance Learning for the development and delivery of the Teaching Advantage Program. Teaching Advantage aims to improve the teaching self-efficacy of advanced doctoral students who desire an academic career.Funded Research
In 2012, Dominique was appointed to lead the Risk Communication stream of Project ResQu, a two-year $7.1 million collaborative research program between the Queensland State Government, CSIRO, Boeing Research & Technology Australia, Insitu Pacific Ltd, and QUT. In this role she collaborates with industry members, public policy makers, and engineering researchers to improve the public perceptions, trust and acceptance of unmanned aircraft systems.
From 2014-2021, Dominique was a Chief Investigator in a project funded by the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre (BNHCRC). The seven-year project, titled Building resilient communities: Effective multi-channel communication in disasters, is a $2.39 million collaborative research program that investigates how to improve the compliance of community members with instructional messages during natural hazards.

Teaching
In line with her research expertise, Dominique teaches Services Marketing, Advanced Consumer Research, and Data Analysis for Consumer Insights to undergraduate students in the QUT Business School. She has previously taught Consumer Behaviour, Introduction to Marketing, and Research Methods to large (over 400) and small cohorts of undergraduate students, and Services Marketing to postgraduate students.
