Teaching
I coordinate, design and teach courses in creative writing, as well as coordinating multidisciplinary units that service the entire creative industries cohort. My teaching practice is characterised by my versatility, innovation, engagement with industry and focus on collaboration. I draw on my industry experience to develop engaging and authentic learning activities. I am a recipient of the Creative Industries Faculty’s Teaching Innovation and Excellence Award and was nominated in two categories at the 2020 Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence: the David Gardiner Teacher of the Year award, and in the Teaching and Research Excellence category.
