Dr Lizzy Johnston

Biography
Dr Lizzy Johnston is an Early Career Research Fellow in the Health Systems and Behavioural Research team at Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ). She is a Visiting Fellow in QUT's School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences and a Research Affiliate in the Gynaecological Cancers Group at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Lizzy is also an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).Lizzy's doctoral research investigated dietary intake, care, and communication after primary treatment for ovarian cancer. Her current research at CCQ continues this work as well as a broader program of research focused on supporting the health and wellbeing of people affected by cancer, particularly those living in rural Queensland. In her role at CCQ, she also supervises professional placement and postgraduate students from QUT.
