Biography
Flavia Medeiros Savi is a researcher in the Centre in Regenerative Medicine at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. Her research focuses on the In vivo characterization and evaluating of 3D printed implants, specially applied to the reconstruction critical sized bone defects, as well as abdominal and pelvic floor defects, spinal fusion, and breast reconstructions. She is highly skilled in state of the art analytical tools including: Scanning Electron microscopy, Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy, light polarized microscopy, brightfield tiles microscopy, light microscopy, as well as EXAKT Cutting and Grinding System.Personal details
