Biography
Ms Gillian Bromley is Vice-President (People) and Chief People Officer at QUT and leads the People Strategy for the University. The Department comprises a number of areas: People and Workplace Relations; Rewards, Workforce Insights, Payroll, and Insurance; Performance, Leadership and Capability; HR Partnering; HR Assist; Recruitment and Indigenous Recruitment and Employment.Prior to joining QUT, Ms Bromley was Head of HR Strategy, Employee Relations, and Remuneration at QSuper. Ms Bromley played a central role in the cultural transformation of the organisation post the transition from government to a profit-for-purpose organisation. She led critical initiatives including enterprise agreement development and corporate restructuring requiring regulator approval. Ms Bromley was a trusted strategic advisor to the Chair of the Board, the Board, and CEO across a range of issues including strategy, culture, executive remuneration, and complex employee relations matters.
Ms Bromley is a Graduate of the Australian Institute for Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
