Biography
I have been working in academia for more than 20 years. The focus of my work is on real-world problems. My research aims to provide new theoretical ideas about the rapidly changing business landscape and the critical role and impact of the accounting systems and practices created for organizing and managing it. In more recent times, my research interests include understanding how the role of management accounting is changing to address disruptive technology innovations such as cloud, big data and AI. I am also interested in revenue management. I hold an Honorary Reader position at the University of Manchester.
Research that I have undertaken has been published in journals such Management Accounting Research and Accounting, Organizations and Society.
