Professor Jane Phillips is well equipped to develop the next generation of nursing graduates to be the best they can be and to make a real-world difference.  She has extensive experience designing and implementing continuing professional development programs and oversaw the development of an innovate online interdisciplinary palliative care master program.  She has also been at the forefront of testing novel continuing professional development programs.  Her recently completed Phase III online 'Spaced Learning' randomised control trial tested whether patient reported cancer pain scores could be improved through an evidence-based online 'spaced learning module' delivered to clinicians' mobile devices at pre-determined intervals. As Head of School of Nursing, Jane is focused on preparing nursing graduates who are committed to providing best evidence-based, person centered and culturally safe nursing care.  Delivering on the future world of nursing and healthcare work is one of the School's most important societal contributions.
