Biography
Dr Jerico Pardosi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Previously he was appointed as an Associate Lecturer at School of Public Health and Community Medicine, UNSW Sydney and involved in teaching Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health, Rural and Remote International Health, Community Development and International Health courses for postgraduate students. He completed his PhD in Demography from Macquarie University in 2016. He has a Master of International Public Health (University of Queensland), Bachelor of Public Health (Universitas Indonesia) and Diploma of Environmental Health (Indonesia Ministry of Health Polytechnic College).Dr Pardosi is a public health researcher and demographer by training from University of Queensland and Macquarie University, Australia. His areas of interest include:

- Rural health

- An examination of COVID-19’s impact on the lives of rural women in the Asia Pacific region through a gender equality lens (Rural Australia, Indonesia and Bangladesh) with A/Prof Christina Malatzky, Dr Mujibul Anam (Griffith University) and Dr Digna Purwaningrum (Universitas Gadjah Mada) through Kick Start Funding for the Indonesian sites.
- The 2022 Alumni Grant Scheme on Health Education Services for VIP (Visual Impaired Persons) and Caregivers in Gorontalo, Indonesia with Kevin Efrain Tololiu, Andi Mursyidah, Wirda Dulahu, Yuniar Soeli, Nirwan Karim, and Ika Wulandari from Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
