Dr Jessica Walsh

Biography
Dr Jessica Walsh's research focuses on conservation decision making and evidence-based practice, with the aim of conserving threatened species and ecosystems. Her lab also works to bridge scientific research, policy and practice to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of conservation decisions.Projects include developing standardised methods for measuring ecosystem recovery for all ecosystem types, woodland bird conservation and understanding how practitioners use evidence in their decisions.
Jessica previously has worked at Monash University, University of Queensland, and Simon Fraser University (Canada), and studied at the University of Queensland and the University of Cambridge (UK).
