Biography
Kristiana Darling is a communications and education professional who has taught in school, tertiary, commercial and government settings. She has delivered original and engaging presentations at several international conferences including the Education Without Borders conference, Women in Leadership conference and Asia Pacific Cities Summit. Kristiana was a previous Youth Representative to the UNESCO High Commission of Australia, is a Pride of Australia award recipient, and an Australia Day Council Medal awardee.Kristiana has worked intermittently at QUT since 2004.
In addition to her current Library Adviser role, she is also a a Professional Staff Representative on the LGBTIQA+ Working Party.

Teaching
Kristiana commenced her teaching career in the Creative Industries faculty in 2004. Since then she has taught in the Creative Industries and Business faculties.
In Kristiana's current Library Adviser role, she has been awarded the QUT Library's Jan Novak award for Outstanding Client Service.
