Biography
Dr Lynda Ross joined the Nutrition & Dietetics team at QUT on 19th August 2019.Lynda is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian with 20 years experience in clinical Dietetics and research. Lynda has held previous positions at Griffith University, the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, the University of Wollongong and Illawarra Health Diabetes Centre.
Lynda is an Associate Editor and Editorial Board member for Nutrition and Dietetics, Journal of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). Lynda also chaired the Scientific & Social Program Committee for the 2019 DAA Annual National Conference held on the Gold Coast.
Lynda's research interests are in clinical dietetics, with a particular focus on dietary interventions for the secondary prevention of chronic disease.
She is currently co-convening Nutrition Therapy Counselling and Practice 1 and Leadership in Nutrition and Dietetics Practice 1 & 2; and convening Medical Nutrition Therapy Counselling and Practice 3 within the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) degree.
