Biography
Laura joined QUT in early 2014 after working as a sessional lecturer and tutor at Griffith University since 2006. She holds a PhD in Accounting and a BBus (hons) in Accounting and Finance. While her primary research area is superannuation, she also has interests in personal finance and financial literacy. Currently Laura and her colleague, Dr Chrisann Palm, have partnered with The Wealth Academy and USQ to conduct research into the financial literacy and education of university students. Laura is an affiliate member (non-practising) of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). She is also a member of the Financial Planning Academic Forum (FPAF).Personal details
