Biography
Michelle is an experienced educator with 30 years of teaching across primary and secondary education. She has undertaken various leadership roles and has extensive expertise in working with students from EAL/D backgrounds, inclusion, and behaviour management. Her background in Health and Physical Education, alongside her commitment to effective classroom management, has contributed to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.Her current research explores the assessment practices of early career teachers, focusing on how they develop and refine these skills in real-world settings. With a commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge gained at university and practical application in schools, she aims to enhance teacher preparation and support in ITE and continuing professional development.
