Associate Professor Patricia Obst has been an active researcher for almost 20 years and has over 70 publications in a variety of areas including:- volunteering

Patricia is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and the Course Coordinator of the School of Psychology and Counselling Honours Program.
Experience
Patricia has worked closely with a number of state government departments and community agencies as a part of both her research and teaching. These include the Department of Communities, Qld Health, The Public Service Commission, Volunteering Qld, and Carers Qld. Patricia has partnered with Volunteering Qld to present forums to bring researchers and practitioners together to discuss volunteering issues. Patricia has close contacts with a number of community organisations, through her research and work integrated learning activities.
