Biography
Following a career in health and community services, Dr Ruth Knight worked with the Australian Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at QUT as a lecturer and researcher specialising in the fields of managing social sector organisations and social enterprise.Her research focuses on workplace culture, leadership, social innovation, and evaluation.
She is currently working on a research project to investigate how social enterprises can develop meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability. The aim is to equip employers with the skills and knowledge required to increase employment opportunities, contributing to advancing employment equity and increase talent in the social enterprise ecosystem in Queensland.
