Biography
Dr. Sasha Lynn is a registered psychologist (clinical endorsement) who specialises in child and adolescent development, with a particular focus on social emotional learning (SEL) and mental health in education. Her research explores how mental health and wellbeing impact on positive learning and holistic development, specifically looking at how to embed SEL into the curriculum. Sasha focuses on applied and translational research, utilising mixed methods to explore efficacious SEL implementation practices, and empowering teachers and other stakeholders to support children and adolescents through evidence-based interventions. She is particularly interested in the use of gamification, AR/VR and digital media to support SEL and mental health practices, and in the use of compassion focused therapeutic approaches to wellbeing.
