Biography
My research focuses on organizational performance and family and individual behaviours in differing contexts and sectors. My past and existing work falls in the fields of sustainability, farming, education, and health. I would like to make further contributions to understanding how people and organizations behave differently and how these affect performances. I am enthusiastic about applying economic and behavioural theories, econometric modelling, and operational research techniques to discover new knowledge to support better decision-making. Nurturing young and more junior researchers to conduct high-quality research is also my commitment. I am enthused by new learning as well and would like to collaborate to solve industry and social problems. I have learned so much through publishing 70+ articles in leading international journals, successful completion of several funded research and consulting projects, and supervision of many HDR students. However I am excited to listen to your stories and learn about complex problems that need to be solved collectively. I am one of the founding members of the Environmental and Public Policy Group at the QUT School of Economics and Finance. I have been an expert member of OECD's Network on Agricultural Total Factor Productivity and the Environment since its first establishment in 2015. I am also a fellow at the Center for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis. Lastly, as an Editorial Member, I would like to invite you to submit your exciting research to the following journals: Economic Analysis and Policy, International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management & Journal of Education for BusinessPersonal details
