QUT will be offering Engineering industry experiences to female students in Year 8 & 9 as part of our fully funded Power of Engineering program.
The redesigned program is a half day experience and offered to Year 8 & 9 female students, aligning with the key decision-making time for senior subjects.
Date: Wednesday 21 July
Time: 9:00–11:00am or 12:00–2:00pm
Location: Brisbane schools will be allocated an industry experience based on proximity to school.

Industry activity (e.g. site tour, workshop or speed networking with engineering staff)

Teachers are invited to nominate female students in Year 8 or 9. We will be taking bookings for:
- 10 students + 1 teacher (pre-paid voucher for maxi taxi transport) OR
- 18 – 22 students + teacher (pre-booked mini buses)
Industry partners to be confirmed: Boeing, AECOM, Qantas, Telstra, SEQ Water, TMR, Queens Wharf, Cross River Rail and many more.
