Enhancing the overall game-day experience for fans is the aim of a QUT and Brisbane Bullets partnership announced today.

QUT will be the Bullets’ official Education Partner, bringing its expertise in digital innovation and education to the partnership and paving the way for creating more immersive and engaging experiences for fans.

QUT Vice-President Engagement and Chief Marketing Officer Professor Mark Harvey said the partnership was a great opportunity to connect with one of our state’s most dynamic sporting teams – a team which values innovation, collaboration and authentic engagement.

“We look forward to being part of exciting times ahead for the Bullets as they consolidate their position as a national sporting pacesetter – and, through our students’ real-world skills and creative drive, enabling them to deliver state-of-the-art engagement with their passionate supporters,” Professor Harvey said.

Brisbane Bullets CEO Malcolm Watts said he welcomed the partnership and looked forward to working with QUT.

“QUT stands out as a university that is driven by innovation and is dedicated to equipping students and graduates with the skills needed to address real-world challenges,” Mr Watts said.

“By merging ideas, technology and innovative thinking, through our partnership with QUT, we look forward to creating more engaging and immersive experiences for our fans.”
