Medical Physics

QUT Medical Physics research aims to improve and understand the way that radiation therapy beams from linear accelerators interact with the human body

STRATA Research Group

STRATA (Sustainable Transformation of Resources for Advanced Technology Applications) is a Faculty of Engineering Research Group which provides solutions to industry by integrating Sustainable Process Engineering practices with fundamental science.

Systems Thinking Incident Review (STIR)

The STIR app has been developed to assist occupational health and safety practitioners to review risk controls following staff injury and is based on Rasmussen’s Accimap technique (check out the STIR app here). WorkSafe Victoria has funded QUT to evaluate the STIR app and information about this trial and its progress can be found on this website.

Stress Genomics Lab

Our laboratory focuses on improving our understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying the individual stress response. Using omics data (gene expression, epigenetics and genotypes), our projects aim to identify risk and protective factors that drive the response to stress.
