Cognitive Science

The Cognitive Science research group investigates different views of cognition to better understand how humans interact in increasingly complex information environments. The group is located within the School of Information Systems at QUT.

Eco-Explorations Queensland: Engaging Youth and Public in Conservation

Interactive Eco-Explorations engages Queensland’s youth and public in conservation through immersive experiences, fostering environmental awareness and stewardship.

Medical Radiation Sciences

Advancing clinical, professional, and health educational research among trainee and practising professionals in radiography, sonography, radiation therapy, and related fields in medical imaging and radiation sciences.

Optimal Regulation of Voluntary Assisted Dying

Led by Professor Ben White, this research project explores regulation of end of life care and voluntary assisted dying (VAD) and will propose a new optimal regulatory framework for VAD in Australia.

Bayesian Research & Applications Group

We foster frontier research in Bayesian methodology and computation, and the application of these approaches to real world problems.

Statistical and Genomic Epidemiology Laboratory (SGEL)

The Statistical and Genomic Epidemiology Laboratory (SGEL) studies the role of genetics in the development and mechanism of human traits, with particular emphasis on migraine, and the specific goal of identifying genetic risk factors and detecting common genetic links with other disorders, in particular depression, endometriosis and epilepsy.
