STRATA Research Group

STRATA (Sustainable Transformation of Resources for Advanced Technology Applications) is a Faculty of Engineering Research Group which provides solutions to industry by integrating Sustainable Process Engineering practices with fundamental science.

Stress Genomics Lab

Our laboratory focuses on improving our understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying the individual stress response. Using omics data (gene expression, epigenetics and genotypes), our projects aim to identify risk and protective factors that drive the response to stress.

Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future

Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future (SAEF) is an Australian Research Council Special Research Initiative that aims to strengthen Antarctic science, policy and governance. QUT is partnering with 30 research and government partners, both national and international, to deliver the program which is led by Monash University.
