Overview

CO2 capture and utilisation is a promising, emerging climate technology. However, there is a great deal of uncertainty regarding its viability and economic impact. This project will be conducted in collaboration with an industry partner.

Research activities

The student will undertake a multi-scale TEA/LCA analysis of a range of CCUS technologies in the Australian context.

Outcomes

  • Evaluation of potential of CCUS technologies in the Australian context.
  • Analysis of interplay between underlying physics and technology viability.
