Overview

This project aims to develop probabilistic forecasting models for renewable energies vi a Bayesian approach.  The models will be developed for very short term and short-term (10 minutes to 24 hours ahead).

Research activities

  • Developing forecasting models for forecasting energy (including renewable) demand.
  • Developing Bayesian models across different locations.
  • Developing an open-source data science model in R/Python for the public use.

Outcomes

  • Developing an open-source forecasting model in R/Python for the public use.
  • Publications in reputable journals and conferences.

Skills and experience

Familiarity with probability concepts, familiarity with statistical/machine learning models.
