Why study a bridging program?
Our bridging programs are available for students and the general community to help you meet the requirements for university study. We offer mathematics bridging programs in:
- Mathematical Methods
- General Mathematics.
Successfully completing a bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in that area for our courses. Completing either of the mathematics bridging programs will also ensure you meet the prerequisites for our Bachelor of Education. These programs may also meet assumed knowledge and prerequisites for other institutions.

Bridging program: Mathematical Methods
Successfully completing the Mathematical Methods bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in mathematical methods for QUT courses and meets the maths prerequisite for courses in education.
Bridging program: General Mathematics
Successfully completing the General Mathematics bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge for some QUT courses and meets the maths prerequisite for courses in education.
