Each year, QUT Business School acknowledges and celebrates top-performing students across its disciplines.
Forty sponsored and School-based prizes have been awarded to students at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels to recognise their outstanding achievements in the 2022 academic year.
This year’s ceremony brought together over 160 students, sponsors, staff and family to celebrate success across the Faculty of Business and Law cohorts – the largest faculty prize ceremony since the covid pandemic.
QUT alumna and former prize recipient Shaina Singh gave an aspirational speech sharing her key advice to current students.
“Take notice when you start feeling comfortable. All of you today are driven, high-achieving students. That means sometimes you will reach your full potential in a particular role, subject or extracurricular quite quickly. This should signal that it’s time to try something more challenging. This will enable you to always be in the driver’s seat of your professional growth and development”.
With the support of various sponsors, including community organisations, industry bodies, and individuals, students are recognised with prizes ranging from monetary to professional development courses and mentoring.
The event wouldn’t be possible without their generosity.
QUT Business School would like to thank:
We also appreciate the support of Morag Hocknull, the Andrews Family and the Colin Brain Governance Fellowship.
QUT Business School would like to congratulate all student recipients again on their achievements and recognise the hard work and dedication of our academic and professional staff, who encourage all the students to achieve their best.
