Workshop details

Optimal outcomes for the many and increasing number of people with complex and chronic health concerns greatly depends on effective teamwork and collaboration between healthcare professionals with diverse skillsets and knowledges.  This workshop aims at raising awareness of the roles of the various health professionals in a way that is transformative, authentic, and fun.

All teams will receive a complex clinical case study to review. Teams are instructed to work collaboratively to formulate a patient-centred plan of care. During this workshop, teams present their plans in front of the class.  Teams are given additional information relevant to the case, challenging each team to adjust its management plan to incorporate the new data.
