In today’s technological world, finding solutions to some very serious challenges in the future will require more science, not less. And we need the best and brightest to design, create and implement future scientific innovations.
In QUT’s new specialised four-year Bachelor of Science Advanced (Honours) degree, students will study alongside a small cohort of high-achieving fellow science enthusiasts and be immersed in real-world research from their first year in authentic research environments, with QUT researchers and projects.
This course is designed for those students who have a passion for scientific enquiry and seek to pursue a career in scientific research. Ideally, students will know where their scientific interests lie and are keen to pursue studies in the science subject they enjoy most. They’ll have successfully completed Year 12 Mathematical Methods and a science subject aligned with their choice of major of either Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science or Physics.
