What you'll receive
You'll receive:
- a study stipend of $300
- up to two hours editorial assistance from an Allen & Unwin publisher.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award you must be:
- enrolled in a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative Writing) undergraduate degree
- either:
- an Australian or New Zealand Citizen
- a permanent resident
- the holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- an international student who has completed high school in Australia.
How to apply
You will need to submit:
- a completed application form
- a short piece of poetry, fiction or non-fiction writing up to 2,500 words.
What happens next?
A selection committee will assess each application. Shortlisted applicants only will be contacted and the recipient announced at the Creative Writing Gala event.
