What you'll receive

You will receive a scholarship valued at $10,000 paid over one year.

You’ll receive a further $10,000 each year thereafter, with a capped limit of $40,000, subject to meeting ongoing eligibility requirements.

Due to the large volume of applications received, we will only notify students who are successful in being offered a scholarship.

The scholarship application process is a competitive process. With a limited number of scholarships available, not all eligible applicants will be offered a scholarship.

About the scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for high achieving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at QUT. By offering financial assistance and recognising academic excellence, this scholarship aims to encourage and empower First Nations students to pursue their educational goals in these academic disciplines.
