About the scholarship
For Dace Dambergs, a migrant from war-torn Latvia, gaining an education at QUT was a turning point in her life. Completing her Bachelor of Social Science lead Dace down an inspiring path, describing her decision to study at QUT as a mature-age student as life-changing.
Dace’s gratitude, strength and determination flows through her to the next generation, through her bequeathment to support QUT student scholarships to provide 'opportunities for others, similar to myself, to achieve their dreams.'
