OCANZ assesses undergraduate optometry courses and postgraduate courses in ocular therapeutics in Australia and New Zealand. Graduates of OCANZ-accredited optometry courses can seek general registration with the Optometry Board of Australia and the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board, New Zealand. OCANZ assesses overseas optometry qualifications and conducts competency-based examinations for international optometrists.
