Matthew's first-year highlight
'One of the best things about my studies has been the chance to learn and grow as a person. I really like that at QUT, they focus on working in groups and having discussions with others. I think talking to people is important because it helps you learn skills you need in life. I feel grateful to have met all kinds of different people, and it has helped me understand the world better.'
Think IT. Think QUT.
Our IT degree is well-recognised both locally and globally. We provide students with a unique educational experience, balancing practice and theory with industry-driven projects.
Hands-on science experiences
Our science students are introduced to a variety of lab experiences across all majors from the first week of their studies.
Student entrepreneurs: TANDA
Three QUT students developed an idea for software to help companies keep track of their staffing shifts. The software was a success, and TANDA was born.
Discover your future at QUT
As a science student at QUT, you'll have access to a range of support, scholarships and clubs throughout your studies.
