'What's great about QUT is the core contact hours are after work so I'm able to do almost a full day of work and then come in for my study. I also travel a lot for work and QUT has been really great at being flexible and allowing me to do what I need to do and still do well in my study.'
Madison Simpson-Treichal Master of Project Management
'QUT’s project management qualification is transdisciplinary, and we’re seeing more professionals use the qualification to advance their career, change sectors or improve their employability. Students will engage with industry practitioners and academics who are experts in their field.'
'The global demand for project managers is growing, and the future of project management is incredibly exciting, driven by innovation, collaboration, and the integration of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.'
Kayla Bolton, Group General Manager, Property, Uniting Care Queensland Master of Project Management
'Our on-campus Master of Project Management offers specialist study areas in Engineering, IT and Systems, Business, Health Management and Emergency and Disaster Management, and a general project management stream for those who do not wish to select a specialisation.'
‘While I studied a Master of Project Management at QUT, there was a position open at Wagners to work for the Cross River Rail Tunnel Segments Project as quality control inspector. Once I finished my studies, Wagners offered me the opportunity to be a project manager for them, which was the perfect time to apply what I learnt at QUT. I’m so grateful that QUT led me to this opportunity and connected me with the PMI Queensland chapter which has been the best place for me to learn from the project management community in Queensland.’

'QUT really is a university for the real world. The assignments and case studies part of the curriculum all related to real life scenarios and teaching us how to resolve them. For example, I worked on a medical project pertaining to market studies on 3D printed cardiovascular stents. Sustainability was one of the key aspects of our project as we had to provide a management solution to develop and bring to existence a sustainable, economical and functional stent. I worked with professors who were passionate too in bringing this technology to the market.'
