First Australian university to offer esports scholarships

Esports (electronic sport, or organised video game competition) is a huge industry. Around 360 million people watched the 2017 League of Legends mid-season invitational broadcast—more than the 2017 Super Bowl and NBA finals. QUT esports is a grassroots community to support students with a passion for gaming, offering a gaming arena and links to multidisciplinary career opportunities.
