What is a Commonwealth supported place?

A CSP is a place at a university or higher education provider where the government pays part of your fees. This subsidy is not a loan, and you don’t have to pay it back. The remaining portion is called the ‘student contribution amount’, which you need to pay, either through a HECS-HELP loan or your own means. The fee will vary depending on the course you decide to study.

Postgraduate subsidised courses

We know that cost is a major factor in your decision to study, that’s why QUT offers a range of postgraduate subsidised degrees where you can pay up to 80 per cent less on your fees to earn your qualification.

Whether you want to advance your skill set in IT or further your career in teaching, there may be a subsidised postgraduate course to satisfy your ambitions.
