Delivered by a qualified exercise professional and supported by our QUT Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students, this 10-week group course is designed to teach you basic sprinting technique and will focus on maximising your speed over short distances. Whether you’re an athlete, high school student, or just interested in moving faster at your weekly social sport competition, this course will help you improve your acceleration mechanics and movement efficiency.
Learn to Lift program
Learn to Lift is a 10-week group course for those who are new to the gym, as well as those who are keen to learn more about resistance training and general exercise in the gym environment. With two sessions each week delivered by our team of qualified exercise professionals in conjunction with our QUT Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students, you’ll learn about a range of exercises and how to incorporate them into your everyday training.
Virtual cycling
Embark on a virtual cycling journey in our virtual sport studio at Gardens Point campus, Y Block, adjacent to Lady Harriet’s Bar and Kitchen. Equipped with 10 Wahoo-KickR bikes, the studio caters to all levels of cyclists from first time riders to elite athletes.
Our virtual cycling sessions are included in select memberships, and QUT students and staff can also enjoy limited complimentary sessions.
