Become a future leader in engineering

'At QUT, we're committed to growing the number of women in engineering. Our award-winning graduates—like Chloe Turrell and Deanna Hood—show how preferencing engineering at QUT is the first step on your journey to creating real change that benefits people, society and the planet.

QUT's support is underpinned by our community of women in engineering staff, student clubs, alumni and industry who are all passionate about breaking down barriers in engineering and helping students achieve their career goals. If you make QUT Engineering your first QTAC preference and meet the eligibility criteria, you'll be automatically considered for our Women in Engineering Scholarship. This scholarship will help you build your confidence and networks with other QUT students, alumni and industry.

We believe the engineering industry thrives on diversity and we hope to see you - an engineer of the future - next year.'

How you can change the world as an engineer

Women in Engineering Scholarship

Our Women in Engineering Scholarship aims to build a strong cohort of future leaders in engineering professions and offers $6,000 paid over two years.

You do not need to complete a scholarship application for the Women in Engineering Scholarship. All eligible students who complete a QTAC application in line with QTAC key dates with a QUT course as their first preference will be considered.
