This unit introduces engineering design and begins your development as a trusted and ethical professional. To develop your capability in design, you will learn about introductory analysis, building and testing of engineering systems, and develop your engineering ethics, professional skills in communication, engineering teamwork, research, cultural awareness and sustainable development practices. Future units, particularly those focused on design will build from this introduction.","title-full":"EGB101 Engineering Design and Professional Practice","title-short":"Engineering Design and Professional Practice","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=EGB101&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=EGB101","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=EGB101"},"year":2025,"years":[2024,2025]}
