This unit is the first of its kind in Australia, linking theory and practice from multiple disciplines in behaviour change. You will explore a broad range of foundational theories and methods from behavioural economics, economics, social marketing, law and communications, to develop a more comprehensive understanding of factors impacting individual decision making and their applied role in addressing complex social issues. This unit involves a real-world client and asks students to apply behavioural theories and design a basic behaviour change program. This unit is relevant to students of business, law, psychology and health as an elective and as a core unit for the Behavioural Economics major.
