Social Marketing seeks to develop and integrate marketing concepts with other approaches to influence behaviours that benefit individuals and communities for the greater social good. It is increasingly being adopted by governments and stakeholders around the world as they seek effective solutions to solving social problems relating to health, well-being, environment, and inequality. In AMB355 we focus on how strategic, critical, and systems thinking, use of theory and research insight, and use of techniques such as segmentation, designing and planning, and the social marketing intervention mix can be used to tackle health and social issues. Students will learn to analyse real world behavioural and social problems and develop innovative and creative solutions using social marketing frameworks. This is an elective unit for business and law, and public health students.","title-full":"AMB355 Marketing Behavioural and Social Change","title-short":"Marketing Behavioural and Social Change","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=AMB355&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=AMB355","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=AMB355"},"year":2025,"years":[2024,2025]}
